Creation of a custom admin menu within the Wordpress CMS

Requirement

The client is a Speaker, Author and Motivator. He wanted a very versatile website - by which he meant that each & every page of his website will be unique in terms of design and layout structure. His very busy schedule due to his daily commitments & events meant that the site needed to be updated everyday by his support staff, who were all non-technical people.

Level of Difficulty

At that time there were was no Modern day page builders like today.3rd party plugins meant risking the site security & this is a chance we could not take.

Our Challenge

Our biggest challenge was that the client has a huge non-technical (website wise) support staff who were responsible for keeping the website updated with the latest text and images. So the Content Management System that needed to be built had to be user friendly for everyone in support staff team.

Solution

We developed an extremely user friendly Content Management System. It is as easy as working on a word doc to manage the site content and images.

We created a customised menu for the administrator to manage the different pages of the website - Layout 1 : Home page - Layout 2 : Vision Page - Layout 3 :Speaker page - Layout 4 : Entrepreneur All the above pages had different layouts and could be managed by our custom admin module by any layman

Key Coding Milestone

The level of coding is most complex and required our very best and experienced coder to work on it. Using custom PHP we created a Custom menu within Wordpress CMS,thus making it extremely easy to manage the website text & images. All this was done within the Wordpress Architecture without any modification to the Wordpress core files thus keeping the site security impregnable.
